SPRING Maternity Style
So many of my adorable friends and followers are expecting this year, so I thought I would do a post of all my favorite maternity looks. My first pregnancy was in the dead of winter and my second was in the heat of the summer. I thought I would hate wearing shorts and dresses…because I like to hide in oversized potato sacks, but I thoroughly enjoyed being pregnant and tanned the second time around!
Pants - AG Maternity, Tank - Lululemon
This was probably my favorite pregnancy “look”. I lived in this style all spring. Before, during, and after pregnancy, I always rock a flannel tied around the waist. No rhyme or reason, just like it. First things first, find a pair of maternity denim that make you feel GREAT!
Shorts - One Teaspoon, Sweater - Lululemon
I was a late bumper, so at 5 months preggo, I barely had any belly. I wore these shorts all spring and summer. I had a small bump and a huge ass (carrying a girl… I heard it’s a thing). I bought my favorite shorts and just sized up. I hated all other maternity shorts, so I opted for regular shorts in a bigger size.
Denim - H&M Maternity, Tee - Frankie and Finnigan, Flannel - Rails
Love me a good statement tee! I lived in these my entire pregnancy. I honestly think it took a little attention away from my huge boobs!! Preggo or not, I LIVE in flannels wrapped around my hips. I am not sure if its in an effort to hide my rather large derrière or maybe I am am just too obsessed with Khloe Kardashian and her style… anyhoo… LOVE me a goof flannel. FULL DISCLOSURE - i spend way too much money on Rails flannels only to tie them around my waist. Sorry, not sorry.
Another day, another printed tee and denim.
Dress - Winners (not maternity), Leather Jacket - Mackage, Booties - Anine Bing
If I wasn’t rocking a graphic tee and jeans, I was LIVING in fitted midi dresses with a jacket or a duster. I loved this look, it was soooo comfortable and looked so chic. You can do so many things with these dresses for day or night or beach or park. This dress was $16.99 from Winners and I lived in it. Maternity fashion doesn’t have to be expensive to look fabulous.
